ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Josephine Munthalo is an educationalist from both the western and Africa traditions and speaks several languages. She has played significant roles in setting up the Scottish Charity, Child Support Project and supported orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs) in Malawi. Raising the profile of Malawi through the Scotland Malawi Partnership and the Scottish Executive International Aid Fund. She has advocated for the right to education and poverty alleviation, for orphans and vulnerable children, including girls and women.

Currently a member of the Network for Policy Research Review and Advice on Education and Training (NORRAG) and Examining Gender in Higher Education Network (EGHE).

Dr. Munthalo article on issues related to child labour and education was published in a book entitled “Global Ideologies Surrounding Children’s Rights and Social Justice” in May 2017.

In 2020 she published her first children’s book with 9 stories based on The Fruits of the Holy Spirit.
