ABOUT THE AUTHOR’S

Dr. Kuhoi Zhimomi is the brother of the late General Kaito Sukhai, Commander-in-Chief of the Naga Army of the Federal Government of Nagaland. His father was the late Kuhoto Zhimomi, the Head Interpreter of the Kohima Division (1921-1948), B.E.M (British Empire Medal) and the brother of the late Kughato Sukhai, the then Ato Kilonser (Prime Minister).

He has held numerous posts, including, one of the highest posts of Nagaland, ‘The State Information Commissioner’, the ‘First Registrar of Nagaland University’ and he was the ‘Founding Principal of Zunheboto College’. A primary figure in the educational field, he helped ensure the growth of Higher Education in the State of Nagaland. He earned a PhD in Political Science, and has authored two books: Political and Militancy in Nagaland and Legends of the Naga Revolution.

Khekaho Zhimomi is the eldest son of Ghohuto Zhimomi, the Chief of Nihoshe Village. He is a great nephew of General Kaito.

He is a freelance writer where his works are mostly based on history of Nagaland. Before taking up writing he was unto a professional music and had gained accolades on it. He was also awarded with the District Best Youth Leader, and is actively involved in media circles in the State and further afield.
